The Immigration and Refugee Clinical Program at Harvard Law School provides free legal services to immigrants and asylum seekers. Here’s a brief summary of what they offer:

  • Representation in immigration court for individuals facing removal (deportation)
  • Asylum applications and other humanitarian relief, including:
  • Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS)
  • Protection under the Convention Against Torture (CAT)
  • Withholding of removal
  • Legal help for survivors of domestic violence and other crimes (e.g., U visas, VAWA)
  • Appellate work, including representation before the Board of Immigration Appeals and federal courts
  • Policy advocacy and impact litigation related to immigration law and immigrant rights

The clinic is staffed by Harvard Law students under the supervision of experienced immigration attorneys. Services are provided at no cost to eligible clients.
