Her Justice provides free civil legal services to women, transgender, and nonbinary individuals living in poverty in New York City who have family, divorce, or immigration law needs.
The organization helps clients who could not otherwise afford legal representation to secure financial independence and safety from abuse.
Its Immigration Program assists undocumented survivors of domestic and gender-based violence with Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) self-petitions, Battered Spouse Waivers, U Visas, and T Visas.
Her Justice serves residents of the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island whose household income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
Immigration clients are referred through New York City Family Justice Centers.
